These terms cover the Tidyfold browser extension and this website. By installing or using Tidyfold you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.
What Tidyfold is
Tidyfold adds folders, search and related organization features to AI chat websites such as ChatGPT. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by OpenAI or any other AI provider. Those sites are governed by their own terms.
Free plan and Tidyfold Pro
- The free plan includes a limited number of folders and the core features, at no cost, for personal use.
- Tidyfold Pro is a paid license that removes those limits and unlocks additional features. Prices are shown at checkout.
- A Pro license key may be activated on up to three browsers at a time. You can remove it from a browser to use it on another. Keys are personal and may not be shared, resold or published.
Purchases, refunds and taxes
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. Dodo issues your receipt, collects any applicable taxes, and handles refunds under its refund policy. If Tidyfold Pro doesn't work for you, email support@tidyfoldapp.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll sort out a refund through Dodo.
Your data
Tidyfold stores your folders on your own device and never transmits them. See the privacy policy for exactly what is stored. You are responsible for keeping a backup, for example with the export feature; we cannot recover data that only existed in your browser.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tidyfold to break the terms of the sites it runs on, to interfere with their operation, or to circumvent the license checks. Don't reverse-engineer the extension for the purpose of bypassing Pro limits.
Changes to the product
AI chat websites change their interfaces often. We work to keep Tidyfold compatible, but features may break or be adjusted when those sites change, and we may add, modify or retire features over time. Pro licenses purchased as one-time payments remain valid for the version line they were bought for.
Warranty and liability
Tidyfold is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Tidyfold. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Tidyfold Pro in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the current version is always published at this address with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
